Don't know much about plants because they're more or less controlled where I come from, but would you think the dragon scales have to do with the research Jayce and Viktor were doing to try to figure out what happened to the dragon that attacked? Know you probably don't got much in context, but if there's gonna be another dragon attack, can't say I'm thrilled.
