Disposition:
⟶ On the surface V is someone who tends to be very collected and who keeps his cool. He is able to compartmentalize things that happen to him in order to maintain a pretty level demeanor. He is able to keep his head in stressful situations. Between his ability to compartmentalize and his upbringing he also rarely holds things aginst people. While he never forgets wrongs done to him, he is willing to move on from them and give people a second chance pending the grievance. He doesn't hold survival against anyone, though he will take it into consideration for the future. V in conversation does his best to be inviting on some level. He is not warm and fuzzy but he does his best not to put people off either. He tries to be agreeable and to put others at ease in conversation all while not particularly letting them close to him. He does well at small talk and talking about others, but people who try to learn too much about him will find themselves running up against a wall and find him diverting the conversation. For his charm he prefers to keep things a bit more superficial. Talking about deeper feelings is difficult for him even when talking with those he has deep, established relationships with.
⟶ V grew up in the streets and holds little judgement against others. He respects the hustle and people doing what they need to survive so long as it does not require the subjugation of others. He does his best not to judge the religions or beliefs of others because he recognizes that everyone needs things to cope and he does his best to keep an open mind. While he's not always successful he does try his best not to let his judgements and bias get before him. He generally accepts people as they are and does not try to change them, opting to walk away with no hard feelings if they are incompatible for whatever reason.
⟶ He is slow to trust. He acts as if people will act out of good faith, but he also plans for the worst outcomes (because people betray you). He is someone who does not give out trust easily; even when it is given he waits for the other shoe to drop. He keeps a talley in his head on who's done what to him, for how much and he judges against it. The other side is if someone sticks around long enough to earn his trust he would do just about anything for them. If someone manages to earn his trust and then breaks it they will not have a chance to earn it back.
⟶ Being a mercenary and growing up amidst violence V learned very early on how to be ruthless. Unless a job specifically requires people to be spared or for him to be covert he will absolutely kill anyone that gets in his way. The way he sees it? Anyone dumb enough to get in his way and get killed deserves it, with the reverse being true as well. This generally does not bother him any which way, but he will go out of his way to punish and kill those who lay a malicious finger on the working boys and girls of NC.
⟶ V's a highly damanged individual. While he developed the ability to compartmentalize in order to help him deal, it mostly allows him to shut away trauma that has formed a lot of maladaptive thinking and poor habits. He is a man with a fear of abandonment and will deny himself happiness because of this. This is a large reason he chose to go with Alt rather than go back to live the rest of his life with Kerry. He has a lot of self sabotaging behaviors that kick in whenever anyone grows too close; it leads to him doing his best to push them away while simultaneously clinging. His relationships can be rocky because of this, often switching between manic and depressive phases. He is someone who needs a strong hand to push him into stability, but he will always have an underlying fear of something going wrong. His behavior can grow erratic if moving past the superficial stage of a relationship. He self medicates generously.
⟶ Just to mention: V beyond all the walls and barriers is a bit of a silly guy who likes to joke and laugh, but he hides it beneath everything else because he was taught from a young age that being strong and tough is the only way to survive in the streets. People with excellent relations with him will find a thoughtful man who likes to make them laugh and has their back no matter the circumstance. When things are good, at least.
Under pressure:
V comes from the poorest of the streets of Night City and is used to the idea of having to survive and doing whatever it takes to do so. He is used to people standing on his shoulders to act as the taller one, and vice versa. Life had always taken, so he'd learn to take as well. There's a bond in growing up that way and he never once thought less of those of Heywood around him for doing what they needed to survive, just as they never thought less of him. He always was able to respect it and he grew into a man who did whatever he needed to in order to survive. He's pretty capable at rolling with the punches and bouncing back from difficult situations and figuring out the way through whatever is thrown at him. He will do his best to keep moving forward and to make himself knowledgable as to where he is now because he does not wish to return to where he was before, which was essentially a kind of death. Despite it all V's ultimate goal is to live the life he wants and to do whatever it takes to get there. On arrival he's highly confused because it makes no sense as to how he could possibly be himself again, thinking perhaps it's some kind of simulation; he rolls with everything that is thrown at him - maybe being a little surly along the way - and ends up on his feet. He helps those that seem to be just as out of place as he is in hopes that eventually they will return the favor but with a more realistic expectation of gaining nothing in return. Ultimately building a network in this new place is useful enough and helping others is an easy way to do that.
Being faced with people he once knew will frighten him on some level and overwhelm him, but he will settle into this once he has a chance to settle into things and find they are real, this isn't all fake. It's strange to him but he'll take whatever support he can take, though he'll passively expect it all to eventually be ripped away from him. For the most part he will be more interested in learning about the new city he lives in and getting a lay of the land and of the people and gangs, then he will start filling things in with other gembonded as everyone starts to figure out their place. Part of learning about people is about their station in the city, where they frequent, what they do. Having Kerry and Jackie here with him will sustain him for a time, most likely, but making meaningful connections with others might be a little bit of a struggle for him. He'll get there, though, as he becomes more comfortable and sees familiar faces in what will become the same old haunts. The best way to approach V is to treat him like a wary cat, but he'll come around with enough time.
Sex falls into something that he uses to self medicate and he doesn't really tie much emotion up in it for the most part. He likes the way the hormones hit his brain when he has sex and is rather liberal about this. Intimate gestures such as holding hands and the like is more difficult for him at first but he is very open with it if the other person is a partner of his. The Synchrony I imagine will complicate his incredibly casual relationship with sex due to the way it can entangle true emotion, but something that forces him to be honest and vulnerable about his feelings is a good thing. He's touch starved and desperately wants love and care deep in his core; letting people be privy to that and act on it is a net positive.
Condition upon arrival: Healthy; body restored back to before all the stuff with the Relic and all that snafu. Memories are fuzzier the older and/or less significant they are as a result of being dissociated into a sea of AI for some period of time. He's had to struggle through recounting the events of the game up to his ending a couple times so that's clear, but his history in Atlanta and before will be hard for him to recollect.

⟶ Highly proficient in all manner of weapons including guns, blades, blunt weapons, and an ok street brawler.

⟶ Short Circuit: overloads an enemy's microcircuits, producing a devastating electrical current of almost 2 million Volts.
⟶ Overheat: when your body fuilds begin to boil, it becomes pretty difficult to focus on much else.
⟶ Contagion: forces toxic metals from cyberware to seep into the blood and poison the target.
Inventory: His clothes. That's.... that's it.
